Dear guests, we ask you kindly to follow these instructions:
"We arrived here somehow by accident and felt at home right away. On the second floor of an 1900 or so building we entered a flat with a wonderfull wooden floor, colorfull rooms, comfortable matresses and absolutely welcoming owners.
Tomorrow we are leaving with one tear in the eye. For sure we will come back some day to Novi Sad - a lively city."

"Forget location (which is brilliant), forget price (which is affordable even for the tightest backpacker), think hospitality and genuine friendliness from wonderful owners (including a few mates and colleagues who drop by). This is why we come here, this is what makes the difference, it's all about the people, not haggling over a Euro or some other minor problem: ok so there's no free breakfast or pub crawls but then again is it really that difficult to just walk out and get that for yourself? Spending time here is as much a part of my experience as visiting any museum or citadel, in fact the two days I was on the terrace meeting the guys painting the walls, friends calling round for a chat, people inviting me out to a gig and sharing their stories, honest, open, intelligent, warm-hearted people, this is my memory of Novi Sad, and I would never feel hard done by that I could have stayed somewhere else in order to save a little bit.
Good luck to you all at Downtown and thank you very much, I love your city and your country!"
