"We've stayed one day, staff was very nice and helpful! They even helped us to park our motorcycles inside the building. Location is really in the middle of the city near cafés and restaurants. Room was clean as well the shower. Novi Sad is really a trip worth."

"I stayed here while cycling the danube river. The staff went out of their way to make things pleasant and comfortable for me. They always made tea and coffee when I came in. The rooms are nice, everything is clean, and the general vibe is positive. Wifi works well, I cooked steaks in the kitchen no problem. Great area for nightlife, cafes and restaurants. If youre in Novi Sad, crash here!"

Hostel inside 108 years old Iron Man Palace.

The building on the corner of the Liberty Square, in which the hostel is located, is best known as the "Iron Man Palace", because of the knight in armor at the top of the building. The palace was the home of the magistracy before the Revolution of 1848. During the bombing of the city, on June 12, 1849 the building was partially destroyed, so the magistracy remained here only until 1852. The "Iron Man" refers to the armor of a medieval knight found in the original two-storey building built on the Liberty Square during the 19th century. The original building was destroyed and a new one was built in its place between 1908 and 1909. The "Iron Man" was preserved and located in a special place at the top of the building. Both the original and the new building are known as the “Iron Man House” or the “Iron Man Palace”.
The “Iron Man Palace” is a two-storey building built in the secession style. It got its present looks in 1908. The ground floor is occupied by offices, and the first floor is the residential area. On the ground floor there is a line of simple, both single- and double winged windows. The first floor windows have a Gothic structure (single-winged windows put together to form a kind of bifora). On the corner of the building, near the top, there is a niche in which the “Iron Man” is located. Behind the niche there is a small dome.
